Chamber

Classical music group - Quartets, Quintets, duets, solos.... you name it. Anything regarded as classical music smaller than an orchestra.

Broadcast Projects

Started in the fall of 2005, WKAR Public Radio (90.5 FM) airs recordings of faculty and School of Music performances. Concerts are chosen ahead of time by WKAR and then I engineer the concert from setup to mastering. For faculty and guest artist concerts I select and place microphones on stage and use the higher-end gear.

thoughts

I missed taking the picture of the concert because of distractions while editing with the guys from Somewhat Moral.  I’ll beat myself up about it for awhile, because this concert sounded amazing.  I did some different positioning with the mics and got a great recording. Not to mention, two cellos are so relaxing to listen to.  First sample is a World Premier composition excerpt.  The second is a Barriere piece that’s just plan pretty.
