Classical music group - Quartets, Quintets, duets, solos.... you name it. Anything regarded as classical music smaller than an orchestra.

Ensembles & Recitals

Concert recordings intended for archive, broadcast or other use. Projects range from simple live-to-2 track with a stereo pair, to larger multitrack projects with some being taken through mastering and duplication.

Just a few projects that have included video.

In addition to the mic pair, two cameras were used to compare video quality.  The Canon XL-1 is shown in the center (right side). This project is being used for future promotional material, as well as trying out the process of video recording concerts.

Here are two clips from the 1-12-06 Gifford Howarth percussion concert which is one of a series of concerts I will be also running video as part of an independent study for Recording Services.  The goal is to develop enough footage to produce the 2006 APPR funding request DVD, asking for money to support high quality video.  This concert used 2 cameras, one $1,000 and another $6,000 to show the differences in quality.  The videos below are from the more expensive Canon XL combined with my normal recording audio.
