Choir
Choral music tends to be my favorite type of music to record and listen to. There are many varying techniques depending on the room acoustics, group talent, and musical choices....I enjoy the challenge.
M.S.U. Children's Choir
Directed by Mary Alice Stollak, the choir is the recipient of a few Grammy awards for a work they did with some University of Michigan folk. My work with them has been in other recording sessions for various projects and live concerts. Some sessions have been used as samples to sell Mrs. Stollak line in the Santa Barbara Music Publishing company.
thoughts
Both Community Music School children’s choir concerts, and high school choir. The first performed at the music school aud, while the high school performed at University Lutheran Church in East Lansing.
I have to admit, the high school program contained many, many songs I listen to on a regular basis, including the one from Rachman..‘s Vespers. This was also my 4th time hearing Ngana, and somehow they’ve been the first high school choir not to loose the key towards the end. Yay!
