Chamber
Classical music group - Quartets, Quintets, duets, solos.... you name it. Anything regarded as classical music smaller than an orchestra.
The Banff Centre
Located in Alberta, Canada deep in the Canadian Rockies, the Centre hosts music, art, and many other programs in addition to audio.
thoughts
A recording session produced by director Theresa and fellow work-study Amandine of a great string quartet. I think this is as close to engineering a recording as I will get with Theresa and others around with a commercial recording situation. We used a pair of Schoeps omnis with a Millennia and carefully placed baffles.
For the audio sample, much work was done by Amandie Pras who produced and edited the demo recording.
