Ensembles & Recitals

Concert recordings intended for archive, broadcast or other use. Projects range from simple live-to-2 track with a stereo pair, to larger multitrack projects with some being taken through mastering and duplication.

thoughts

Imagine all the big groups at a music camp performing on one concerts; orchestra, choirs, jazz band, dancers…. Lots of channels, splits and fun mixing all these tracks live to 2-track without seeing what’s going on.  My personal favorite was gaff-taping a pair of KM84’s on a stereo bar onto a pole to get the choir in the very back of the 4,000 seat venue and using the live system’s snakes to hall the lines back to the front where the booth is.
