Description
In 199x the East Lansing Trinity Church moved out of their existing building and built a new church on the south side of Lansing. The city of East Lansing decided to buy the old building and renovated for the Community Music School. Trinity outfitted their small sanctuary with stage lighting and sound equipment, so transforming this room into a recital hall took little effort.
Acoustics are not so ambient here. The carpet floors and small wooden walls make it a very dry place to do any type of recording. Surprisingly there is little electrical noise from all the dimmers, and other than loud-shutting doors the hall is nice for seasonal concerts from the smaller groups. The MSU Children’s Choir usually performs at Plymouth Congregational Church, and not here.
