This church is designed in a pyramid sitting about 700. Concerts are done at one end of the hall in the choir risers under the organ. The church is built with a very quiet HVAC system, wonderful acoustic properties, and stage lighting. M.S.U. Chorale performances occupy most of the concerts at Plymouth. Recording is done with a remote rig; microphones, cable and a recording box usually located in the hallway. Recording sessions for larger ensembles, such as the M.S.U. Children’s Choir, have been done here and is a great place for very reverberant sounds.
